This iconic jail facility is located in downtown Los Angeles and contains those arrested in the communities within the downtown area.  J&M constructed several of the site concrete amenities including a unique art display feature at the entry plaza.  The concrete paving at the base of this art piece consisted of white cement with a series of tightly spaced joints in varying geometric configurations.  The shadow lines created by the joints enhance the visual quality of the patterns and the paving.
