Latino Health Access is a non-profit organization that reaches out to local residents with a focus of combating health problems that plague many of it’s community families. Latino Health Access worked for over ten years with local residents to design, fund, and construct this facility. The center which opened in 2015 is entirely volunteer-run who train neighborhood workers to educate their local citizens to create a more healthy community. The facility includes offices, a community garden, a library, and a much needed park that is currently the only park in the 92701 zip code area. J&M constructed site concrete improvements including Intecrete® concrete paving using recycled stained glass and the small neighborhood-scaled park.
