UC Irvine Medical Center features a major research hospital and serves as the teaching center for UC Irvine’s School of Medicine.  The campus includes an array of medical buildings situated on the site that encircles a large, public square.  This space combines landscape and hardscape amenities.  J&M constructed a majority of the site concrete elements including J&M’s Intecrete^® concrete paving consisting of hand-seeded stone pebbles.  Other paving types included paving of varying colors and textures, cast-in-place concrete retaining walls, and J&M’s proprietary SmoothCast^® concrete walls.
