Kaiser Permanente’s Antelope Valley Medical Office is located in Lancaster and happens to be Kaiser’s first building to qualify for LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. J&M built several architectural concrete elements including colored concrete pathways, plazas with exposed aggregate surfaces, J&M’s Intecrete® concrete paving system with a variety of hand-seeded aggregates, numerous cast-in-place seatwall’s and terraced amphitheater steps. Unique to this medical facility is a outdoor healing garden that integrates features constructed by J&M including a tranquil water feature.
