The six-story Hospital Support Building aids and enhances critical functions of the adjacent Irvine Medical Center and Medical Office Building 1.  HSB houses specialty clinics and OB/GYN, orthopedics, surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology and imaging services. It contains an outpatient surgery and G.I. procedural suite, central registration/checkout, gift shop, administrative space, conference rooms, and a health sciences library. The HSB connects via pedestrian bridges to the medical office building on two levels, and to the hospital on all six levels. A three-story, 24,000-sf central utility plant serves the entire medical campus.
