Located on bustling Pacific Coast Highway, this “pocket park” was designed by BGB Design Group of Costa Mesa and constructed in the idyllic, seaside community of Corona del Mar, California. The primary goal behind Corona del Mar Pocket Park was the reuse of a small, virtually unusable parcel of vacant land solely for the benefit of the local community. This very small “park” accommodates casual bench seating surrounded by J&M’s Intecrete® concrete paving containing sea shells that reflect its close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. In fact, BGB Design Group actually participated in the application of sea shells which resulted in beautiful Intecrete® paving!
