J&M has a patent pending on Intecrete®, a custom architectural concrete paving system that incorporates the application of custom, hand-seeded aggregates on the paving surface. There are hundred’s of aggregates available for use in the Intecrete® paving system, however, the most common aggregates in use today are granites, marble and limestone, pebbles, crushed rock, sea shells, and glass. One distinctive attribute of this beautiful concrete paving is the addition of an integrally dispersed chemical admixture that virtually eliminates ASR (Alkali-Silica Reaction). ASR has been known to “debond” silica-based aggregates, such as crushed glass, from alkali-based cement.
J&M has currently installed Intecrete® architectural concrete paving on over 70 projects in Southern California, totaling more than 615,000 square feet of paving.
